These plants have fragrant foliage and beautiful 2 to 2.5 foot tall spikes of sky-blue to dark-blue colored flowers that have a lighter colored lower lip. Blooming from late spring into mid summer, if dead-headed flowering to a lesser degree will continue till fall. Attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. A nice showy species with aromatic foliage. Full sun to light shade in well drained soils that hold some moisture, will self sow were happy and there is open ground.

Native to Pakistan. Cover seeds, darkness needed for best germination. Use 70F, 10-20 days.
