Now is know as Oenothera glazioviana 'Evening Scented Primrose'

Plants grow 36 inches tall and have large 4 inch yellow flowers. Use in locations with sandy well draining soils in full sun. Plants start to bloom in late afternoon and bloom all night into early morning. Plants bloom in June and July.

Zones 4-8. Cover seeds, darkness needed for best germination, use F70, germination in 10-30 days.
