'Chinese Lantern'. Large orange-scarlet pods in late summer, great as dried material. fill produce the first year. Plants can be weedy spreading under ground. Do not grow in rich soils- this will produce a lot of spreading foliage and few flowers, to me the plants have a bad odor and are weedy, but they are loved for the red lanterns which do make outstanding dried material. Grows 2' tall. Zones 4-8. 50 seeds.
