This yellow alpine species poppy is a nice addition to the perennial garden, with its diminutive, soft yellow colored, 1 to 1.5 inch wide flowers on compact plants with 6 inch tall stems over low growing foliage. 'Pacino' works very well as a specimen for the front of perennial border and in rock gardens.

Exceptionally hardy from zones 2-8, it will flower in its second year from June all the way through September. Surface sow seeds, light needed for best germination, use F. 75, germination in 5-15 days with germination spread out over a few weeks.

100+ seeds.
