'Narrow Leaved Obedient Plant' (fy-so-STEEJ-ee-uh: an-gus-tee-FOH-lee-uh)

Plants have tall, 2 to 3 foot long narrow spikes of lavender colored flowers. Can be used as cut flowers too. Tolerates wet sites, but intolerant of real dry ones. Evergreen winter rosettes of low growing foliage give rise to flowers in late spring/early summer. Spreads by rhizomes and some-times by self seeding. Zone (3)5 to 9. Sow at 55-65慚 for 3 weeks, if no germination move to 24-39慚 for 12 weeks, move to 65-74慚 for germination.
