Soft lilac colored flowers located in whorls around the stems. Plants have attractively large, pointed leaves that are nicely textured. with wrinkles. Flowering stems grow 2 to 3 feet tall. Needs a sunny, dry well draining location, protected against winter wetness. Zones 5-8. Native from rocky slopes in Kashmir and Afghanistan. Germination is spread out over many weeks, Use 3 weeks at 80ºF. In no results then 4 weeks at 40-45ºF, then back to 75-80ºF. keep moist but not overly wet. 10 seeds
