Freeze seed in a cub of ice before sowing and keep frozen for 2 weeks. Sow and cover (darkness needed) and keep at 70 F for three weeks then 35F for three more weeks, then back to 70F. An alternative method is to: Sow at 64-71ºF for 4 weeks, move to the fridge for 5 weeks, move to 55ºF for germination. Germination is erratic, do not throw away seeds but over winter any ungerminated seeds out side for germination in the next spring. Or sow out side in the fall for germination in the spring.
