Large some-what cup shaped, bright blood red-scarlet colored flowers with black cross marks at the base of the petals. Plants grow 3 to 3.5 feet tall and bloom late spring. Use in full sun in soils that are deep, humus rich, and fertile. The soils should be well-draining.
