With a late winter to early spring sowing, these plants will bloom in mid summer. Low growing foliage with 12 to 18 inch tall stems with whorled clusters of blue flowers. When happy will bloom over many weeks from summer into fall, grow in cool, moist places in part shade in humus-rich soils that are moist but not waterlogged.
Zones 4-7. Surface sow seeds and use F 60-70, germination is spread
out over a month or two. Might be helpful to seal up in a
plastic bag. If no germination in 4 weeks move to to 30-39F
for five weeks. Then back to 65F
