Reddish tinted leaves with long pointed tips and a rounded base, red veins, whiteish tinted green to reddish colored flowers produced in tall spikes in spring., Easy to grow and will take even dry shade once established. Best appearnce in a humus rich soil that is deep, fertile, moderately heavy, moisture retentive but well draining. Full sun or semi-shade.
Zones 6-9. Native from the Indian Himalayas.
