[Erigeron compositus] 'Trifid Mountain Fleabane' or Dwarf Mountain Daisy ech plants has a dense mound of foliage with thick, fuzzy dissected leaves. The yellow rayless flowers are button-like, ending 4 to 6 inch tall stems. Most often the the flower rays (petals) are missing but when produced they are can be white, pink or blue.
