[Erigeron compositus] 'Trifid Mountain Fleabane' or Dwarf Mountain Daisy
ech plants has a dense mound of foliage with thick, fuzzy dissected leaves. The yellow rayless flowers are button-like, ending 4 to 6 inch tall stems. Most often the the flower rays (petals) are missing but when produced they are can be white, pink or blue. Grow in full sun, in soils that are well-drained. Low water requirements and drought tolerant once established.
