'Caster bean'
Seeds are poisonous, so do not eat the seeds (they look like large wood ticks, being spotted and speckled with black and tan dots and blotches) This selection has Huge leaves, larger than the normal forms and plants can grow over 7 feet tall, even over 10 feet in one summer.
Zones 2 - 7 as a annual and 8 - 11 as a perennial. Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours, sow and lightly cover. Germination starts in less than two weeks at 60-68ºF, but can be spread out over some time.
