Quantity:

Plants grow 20 to 50 inches tall with whorled leaves to the middle of the stems that are topped off with 2 to 12 Flowers. The soft vermilion colored flowers have purple-red spots. A distinctive looking species with star-fish like flowers.

Zones 4-8. Native from Chine and Russia were it is found growing on forested slopes and along forest margins. Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours then use 4 weeks at 65-74慚, If no germination use 4 weeks at 32- 39慚, move to 50 -60慚 for germination.
