Plants will flower a little the first year from an early sowing, but heavy flowering starts the second year, were plants will bloom from July into late August. Germination is spread out over many weeks. Native from Siberia (The species gets its name because it was found around Lake Baikal), Mongolia, China, Japan and Korea.
