'Prairie Mallow'
This is an outstanding cut flower with 1/4 inch wide flowers of bright pink on upright 20 inch tall spikes. Plants grow 36 inches tall and bloom in mid to late summer. Full sun and well drained soils but not overly dry - cut back at the end of flowering and plants will flower again. Will bloom in the fall the first year if started early. Sow seeds in a plastic bag with some moist seed mix and place in the fridge for 2 weeks, sow and keep at F 60, germination in 2-3 weeks.
