'Riddell’s Goldenrod'
Nice golden-yellow colored flowers in late summer to early fall. This species is best used for wet areas of wild gardens, prairies, meadows and other native plant gardens or naturalized wild areas. Best in moist soils in full sun- plants spread under ground to form large spreading clumps growing 2 to 3 feet tall. Zones 3 to 7. Native to Flowering Sep–Oct. Wet prairielike sites and marshy ground in Man., Ont.; Ill., Ind., Mich., Minn., Mo., Ohio, Wis.
