A hybrid selection. The species might be a form of Veronica longifolia but is less hardy and needs a more consistently moist location. More compact and attractive. A lovely medium sized veronica with shiny, dark green leaves and dozens of bright blue blossoms per stem. Plants form mounding clumps with flowering stems grow up to 20 inches tall, with the foliage 5-12 inches tall. Blooms early to mid-late summer. Sow seeds and use 70 F, keep moisture (not wet). Do not cover the seed but tamp into the medium. Grow out the seedlings under cooler conditions after germination occurs.
