Corn Poppy' or 'Flanders Poppy' Papaveraceae:

Plants with a mix of flower colors from large fire red colored flowers or white or pink or rose. The flowers are 3 to 4 inches wide. The flowers are on 2 foot tall stems. The long stems rise above low growing, hairy foliage. This annual puts on a showy display when planted in mass in clusters a few feet wide. Since plants do not transplant well they should be sown were you want them to grow in spring.

Zones 3-9. Native from Europe and naturalized in the USA.
