Grey-leafed St. John's Wort
Bright yellow flowers on plants that grow no more than 7 inches tall. They have gray-green colored leaves with large flowers in each leaf axil. Mat forming clumps that grow maybe 3 inches tall and a few feet wide. Best displays in full sun in soils that drain well and are on the dry side in winter. An attractive ground cover with small, paired, silver leaves.
Surface sow the seeds on top of pre-moistened medium and keep for 21 days at 65 - 75F. If little germination move to 24-39F for 60 days, then move back to 70F. Or sow and keep out side in a sheltered location for spring germination. Surface sow-light needed for best results.
