Marsh Blazing Star
This seed is for the wild species, thus the plants will be more variable than the cultivars. Tall, upright spike-like clusters of purples flowers, long lived clump-forming perennial which is native to moist low grounds, meadows and marsh margins. Stem leaves gradually decrease in size toward the top. Blooms in summer and is loved by bees and butterflies. A nice plant for the border and the wildflower garden. Cas be used as cut and dried material also.
Native to eastern North America. Lightly cover seeds and use 70ºF,Germination starts in 7 days and is spread out over a month or two. Might help to soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours.
