Pearly Everlasting Asteraceae:
Plants grow about 2 feet tall and bloom mid to late summer. Plants have attractive white-woolly stems and silvery foliage; they also many small heads of silver white colored flowers with yellow middles clustered together into large corymb clusters. Nice cut flowers and can be dried too. The species name means three-nerved, in reference to the leaf veins. Grow in full sun in moisture retentive soils; dry or wet soils are not tolerated for long.
Anaphalis triplinervis is native to Afghanistan ranging to southwestern China. Germination in about 2 weeks at 68-78F. Surface sow seeds and keep moist. If no results, move to 24-38F for 4 weeks.
