Baptisia alba has creamy-white flowers, followed with attractive seeds pods that turn black. Showy in bloom and when in fruit, the fruiting stems can be cut and used as dried decorations- very nice. Baptisia alba is a long lived species with a deep taproot that takes a few years of growth to look its best. Requires little maintenance once established and relatively free of diseases or pests. An attractive bushy shape with showy white flowers in spring.
