Campanula muralis Dalmation Bellflower (kam-PAN-yoo-luh: port-en-shlag-ee-AH-nuh)
Nice shade of purple-blue colored flowers that are bell shaped and upward facing. Plants grow into small clumps 6 inches tall and 12 to 18 inches wide. Blooms spring and early summer with a good number of showy flowers, nice in the rock garden or grown amongst paving stones.
Sow as thin as possible, seed is very small, and do not cover. Use 50-60F, Germination is spread out over many weeks. Cover pots with clear plastic or glass to keep soil surface from drying out.
