Large lettuce like leaves produce 1 to 3 foot tall stems with blue daisy like flowers along the length of the stems. Best grown on cool-moist soils. A none native plant that in some locations can become weedy. Best flowering when the weather cools down in late summer and fall. During the hottest part of summer- the flowers are only open for a few hours in the morning. Cannot be sent to CO. Surface sow seeds, germination 1 to 4 weeks at 65-75F.
