(sef-uh-LARE-ee-uh: lew-KAN-thuh) Dipsacaceae:
A good number of half globe shaped flowers in a off white to soft butter yellow color. Plants grow 3 to 4 feet (4 ft = 1.22 m) tall with long thin stems over a rosette of low growing leaves. The long stemmed flower are nice as cut flowers. Stem nearly round in shape, leaves pinnatifid, lobes linear or oblong flower heads nearly globose. Plants have a semi-woody base.
