Very narrow petals that are dramatically reflexed around the small center cones. The petals are white colored with a pink tint to them. the petals are a softer tone and thinner than the typical species, giving the flowers an even more graceful look than the typical plants have. Place in an area with full sun in soils that drain well, like most purple cone species this one has a deep taproot and is drought tolerant.
Echinacea pallida is native to the prairie lands of the central United States.
Echinacea pallida 'Hula Dancer' seeds most often germinate in 2 to 7 weeks at 70F. If germination does not start after 3-4 weeks a cooling below 40F for a period of 2-4 weeks helps end seed dormancy.
