Digitalis parviflora grows 2 to 3 feet (3 ft = 91.4 cm) tall with spikes of reddish-brown colored flowers above dark green colored glossy leaves. Early to mid summer blooming, nice cut flowers. Should have well drained soils in the winter for plants that will be more hardy and longer lived. Use in full sun to open part shade. Plants will bloom the second year.
Germination in less than two weeks at 65-75F. Surface sow seeds, light needed for best results.
