Yellow-gold colored flowers with dark centers, plants grow 4 to 6 feet tall when in bloom. Best in moist but not wet soils in full sun to part shade. They do not perform well in dry soils were they wilt and do not develop the large attractive leaves. Blooms late summer, a showy addition when you need something large for the back of the border or as a specimen around a large rock. Plants have large leaves.
Germination takes a few weeks 66-75F. Surface sow seeds, light needed for best results. Germination can be spread out over a few weeks too.
