Unusual pink bronze flushed, rose colored, 'Maltese Cross' shaped flowers. Plants grow 3 to 4 feet tall and bloom in July. Full sun in good soils that are moisture retentive but not wet. In a shady location they need major staking.

The species is native from Eastern Russia. Germination in less than two weeks at 68F . Surface sow seeds, light needed for best results.
