Lupinus versicolor is a low growing lupine species, around 12 inches tall, that blooms from late spring into mid summer. The small leaves are covered in silver hairs, and the flowers are a multicolored mix of purples and yellow-creams. An attractive rock garden subject, forming low, spreading mats, with interesting foliage and showy flowers.
