Plume Poppy Papaveraceae:
Much like to M. cordata but the flower color is white with pink tinting. The large leaves are attractively lobed with white-gray colored undersides. As with the other species, this plant will tend to spread vigorously and can be invasive in smaller gardens. It grows in full sun to open shade and they spread more rapidly in shade, were plants space them selves further apart looking for an area with more light. Grows 7 to 10 feet tall. This is a striking architectural plant, with tall upright stems and attractive gray to olive green foliage. Useful along a tall fence, corner or rock wall.
