Eastern Bee Balm or Bradbury's Monarda Lamiaceae:

This seed may come in a mix of colors including purple, lilac, white and reddish tinted but most plants are likely the lavender-purple flowering form. Later blooming than M.didyma and shorter, growing 20-36 inches tall.

Zones 4-9

Germination in less than two weeks at 60ºF. Surface sow seeds, light needed for best results.

This species is a native north American plant listed as endangered in the wild for the state of Indiana , but found as a common late summer blooming 'wild' flower in much of the prairie states. Native to Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.
