This
Black-eyed Susan has variable double, golden yellow flowers that
are 5-1/2 inches wide. Plants have sturdy upright stems that grow
about three feet high. Flowering in a profusion of bright
golden-yellow flower heads with large black centers. the long, sturdy
3 ft. high stems makes this a good selection for cutting. Blooms the
same year from an early sowing. Grow as an annual cut flower, but
maybe a short lived perennial. Some self seeding occurs.
