Achillea millefolium 'Colorado'


This very fine seed selection comes in a wide mix of colors including shades of reds, roses, yellows, golds and apricots. A choice and different selection. A diverse mixture with darker hues from red to pink to apricot colored flowers, also including yellow and light yellow, beige tones and a few whites. Plants have attractive foliage which is soft and lacy. Plants are long blooming, with large flat heads more than 5 inches wide. To promote all season long flowering, one should dead head after the main flowering flush - This will produce smaller flower heads but blooming all the way till frost. Upright growing plants that do best in full sun, were they will grow from 20-26 inches tall. Does well in dry soils but prefers soils that are moisture retentive BUT well drained. Great Cut flowers that are loved by butterflies. Plants form slowly spreading clumps.

Surface sow, light needed for best germination in 7-10 days at 70F.
