Salvia farinacea 'Strata' was awarded the Fleuroselect Gold Medal. Showy variety of Salvia with bi-colored flower spikes, with blue flowers andsilver-white stems. This half-hardy annual is an award-winning, compact growing variety reaching 12 to 15 inches tall. The silver-haired spikes hold clear blue flowers with white calyx. Best grown in full sun to light shade in well-draining soils.


Sow Indoors from February to March for blooms from July to October, or sow the seeds later for late summer and fall blooming.
