An interesting and attractive species with bell shaped, pendulous stemmed, lilac-pink colored flowers. Blooms all Summer. Plants grow 8 to 12 inches tall and 12 to 18 inches wide. The foliage is a medium greenish yellow color with toothed margins. Grow in bright to part shade in rich soil, made up of sandy-loam. Useful as edging plants or a rock garden and trough gardens, even in a large container with other plants. Best display in moisture retentive soil that are not wet but do not become dry during the flowering season.
Native to Armenia, where it is found in rocky areas with organic soils.
