Greenish-yellow to creamy-white colored flowers on plants that grow 2 feet tall. One of the easer larger hardy gentians to grow and long lived. The flowers are produced in terminal clusters and are trumpet-shaped and cream colored. Blooming may start in mid summer, early autumn. The attractive thick fleshy stems produce tough leathery leaves along their lengths.
Native to Tibet, Bhutan, Sikkim and Nepal.
