[Aquilegia vulgaris var. stellata]
Semi-double flowers shaped like clematis flowers, in a mix of different colors. A nice flower shape, held well above the foliage, blooming in late spring. The dark blues are real nice. If you really wants some interesting and huge flowers, grow this selection near the 'McKena Giants' and allow them cross pollinate and to self seed. WOW some of the flowers can be 5 inches wide and are with-out spurs, some will look like a single large clematis flower others take on other interesting flower shapes.
