Plants grow to 6 feet tall with tall upright, strong, densely flowered spikes. The 2/3 inch long flowers have a yellow-red color and are veined in rusty red on the inside. The dark green leaves are long and thin. This selection blooms a very long time in summer and with its tall habits makes a choice addition to the center of a garden bed they, also make an excellent cut flower. Plant in full sun or bright open shade with filtered sun, plants are drought tolerant, doing best in well drained soils. Easy to grow from seed and distinctive. Like most foxgloves this is a perennial, it blooms the second year and for a few years after that.
Germination in less than two weeks at 65-75F. Surface sow seeds, light needed for best results.
