Salvia coccinea 'Coral Nymph' is another bicolor selection with bright salmon-red colored flowers that have white upper-lips. Long blooming with a bushy habit of growth about 25 inches tall. Cut back to produce more compact and even bushier plants. Nice in pots and large containers.
This annual salvia like the others listed here is drought and heat tolerant. Start seeds with 3 to 4 weeks at 65-75F. Surface sow the seeds because light is needed for best results. If no germination in two or three weeks move for 2-4 weeks to 30-39F, then move back to 65-75F.
