[Tanacetum macrophyllum]{Achillea grandifolia} Tansy-chrysanthemum

This species grows 1 to 3 feet tall and has larger heads of white flower in summer. It resembles a large yarrow. An easily grown, attractive and scented perennial, growing best in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerant of some shade also, especially in hot summer climates. Plant out in moist, humusy soils for the best looking plants, but tolerates a wide variety of soils including poor, dry soils. Naturalization often by self-seeding and clump forming by way or spreading stems.
